2009 Christmas Party!
Thank you to all that came and had fun with us at TMA's first annual Christmas Party. Thank you to Master Kim of Tigon TKD, the Jr Demo Team, and the Action Team for coming and showing us a great demonstration of the Martial Arts.

We also had a funny demo of our own. The Evil Up Cha Ki was trying to steal the stocking from the kids and then after the kids being defeated from the tricky ways of Evil Up Cha Ki someone with a holly-jolly laugh and a big red suit came and saved the day. Thank you Andelynn, Brice, Mathew, and Marcus.

To wrap it all up we had a gift exchange.

Winter Pot Luck Winner is Renne Kindshi
What a great dish of Pulled Pork BBQ. That was our first dish we had warm also. Smart idea of brining the crock pot to keep it heated. This year we had a great turn out of food. Ones that realy stuck in my mind are the Beer Batter Cod, Turkey Cassorol, Some Yummy Noodle dish, and of course the Pulled Pork BBQ in a bun.

November 09 True Martial Arts Sparring Tournament
Thank you Manny and Ryan who went to Sammamish to represent Trinity Martial Arts in the sparing tournament. Manny was moved into the division above his and preformed great. Even though he was sparing provisional black belts he almost took 3rd by one point. The best thing was the complements I received, instructors where asking what other style did he train in before this one. I said “This is his first time doing martial arts.”
I hope to be ready with all of Trinity's students for the BIG tournament in March. It is human nature to try harder when we are competing. Majority of students will practice more outside of class, they will practice harder inside class, they will become a better martial artist for getting ready for the competition coming up. Yes it is nice to take home the trophy, but the real trophy you take home is that you became better as a person.

FIRE!!!!!!
This morning around 3 am the fire was ablaze 30 feet above the roof top of the strip mall our school is located. Looks like someone is watching out for us because the water damage ended right before it got to Trinity. This morning Tiffany, Alexander, and I where there asking if it was OK to have people there and the firemen said besides a minor smell of smoke there is no problem for kids to be there. My sympathy goes out to the business owners who where unfortunate and will be closed for the next 2 months plus to repair the damage. The school will operate as normal.

Thank you to all who could make it to our first Halloween Party. A special thank you to all that helped in making this in my mind a complete success. We had great food, great demos, and great fun! We started out the night with the pot luck, then onto demos, games, costume contest, and to rap it all up a pinata loaded full of candy. If you have any pictures that you think turned out fantastic please get them to me.

Thank You Costco
We had our booth set up in the Costco break-room for safety day. This gave our school great exposure to what TMA is really about. That is a “family martial arts” school. Special thanks to the Tiny Trinity's who did a fantastic demo of board breaking and how to get away from a stranger.

TMA is growing
As our school grows our “Martial Arts Family” grows as well. The formula is simple. More students, the more energy in class. Help us grow. Most of the martial arts schools across the nation found that the number one way a school grows is through “word of mouth” (according to Martial Arts Success Magazine.) If you love the school all we ask is you do what comes naturally and talk about it.
