About the Chief Instructor, Kyo Bum Nim, Chris Aprecio

Mr. Aprecio has been studying martial arts for over 16 years from the age of fifteen. Earlier still while growing up in Hawaii, at the age of five he studied Kempo & Tae Kwon Do but not until the age of 15 when he was introduced to Tae Kwon Do through True Martial Arts his master, Thomas Zoppi taught him the invaluable lessons of life. From then on he has studied over half his life and dedicated himself to consistently growing and evolving both physically and mentally. He holds a Third Degree Black Belt in Modern Chung Mo Kwon, a First Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do Chung Mo Kwon, Second Degree in Tae Kwon Do Kukiwon, and a Black Belt in Arnis, a Filipino martial art. He has participated in camps in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu back in the 80's during UFC 1 and recently he has also expanded full-time in Gracie Barra Jiu-Jitsu.

In his path of learning 10 of those years he was also developing into a teacher of the Arts. It started at True Martial Arts of Sammamish. He was an instructor in Tea Kwon Do and Arnis, then an instructor at True Martial Arts of Bellevue. In the middle of it all he also was a gymnastics instructor for a year at Everything Movement in Issaquah. When he moved to Lake Stevens he studied under Master Sung-Soo Kim learning the art of Martial Arts Demonstration's. Shortly after Chris Aprecio became the Captain of the demo team then promoted to full time instructor. It seem where ever Mr. Aprecio is his passion to teach the Martial Arts shines.

Mr Aprecio decided to follow his childhood dreams of opening his own martial art school on July 1st 2009. He wanted to put into the school all the passion, devotion, and literally all the blood sweat and tears that molded him into the person he is today. You and your family are more then welcome to join him on his next phase of this wonderful martial arts journey, and the most important. It is Mr Aprecio's time to give back and to find that next path in the service of others.

“Back before I started Martial Arts at the age of fifteen I was heading down the wrong path, getting D's and F's, and hanging out with the wrong crowd. I had too much time to get into trouble. My parents finally put me into Martial Arts, something I loved as a child gowning up watching Kung Fu Theater on television. From then on my life turned around in a positive direction. I had a place to focus my energy, I started getting A's and B's in school, I spent my time training with people who felt like a second family. I truly believe Martial Arts saved me. Now it is my turn to give back this priceless gift that I have received; the gift of confidence, self esteem, leadership, determination, discipline, and a fun and exciting way to be physical fit."

About Instructor, Tiffany Aprecio

Tiffany Aprecio was introduced to Martial Arts through Chris Aprecio during her collage years. She quickly progress through the ranks as a “Natural” of martial arts. She holds two Black Belts one in Modern Chung Mo Kwon and one in Kukiwon. She sets the bar very high and has that black belt “Never Quit” attitude.

"I joined martial arts over 8 years ago and could have never imagined how it would change my life. Martial Arts was not something I envisioned doing, I was so shy, and scared to be the focus of attention. Looking back, I can see that the hardest step was pushing aside all of my excuses and walking in the door to take my first class. From my first class, everyone truly made me feel comfortable, like I was accepted for who I was. Over time, my fear of being the center of attention began to subside, I became confident and happy. I am now confident in who I am and my abilities; martial arts has become part of who I am. I now have a wonderful lifestyle to share with my husband and family.

Today is your day to take control of your life; the step toward self-confidence and happiness... The hardest step... The first step. "
