Jiu Jitsu

I studied under Professor Michael Simpson (BJJ Black Belt) from North Sound Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for around two years. The main thing that I noticed was everyone that came in wanted to do Jiu-Jitsu but I don't know if it is a guy thing but after one month through the grinder and being sore all the time after class, only 1 out of 40 would stay. Michael joking said its more like 1 out of a 100, or at least I think he was joking.

This school will be a great first step in Jiu-Jitsu. I am not a BJJ black belt but I can teach you the first two years from my experience from teaching the other arts. I want a place for the 39 people who thought getting beat up all the time was not for them to come and learn Jiu-Jitsu in a more tone down environment.

Jiu-Jitsu still is a tough sport even in a more tone down environment. It is still a great work out. It will most likely burn as many calories as the hardest work out you have ever done. It is great for core strength and knowing you can still be safe if you end up on the ground. The best way to see if this is for you is to come in and try a free class.

All great achievements start with the ability to try.
